Pricing a PSG for Sale

Post by Derek Berkeley »

Hello Everyone! I am trying to determine a fair market value for my Dad's PSG so that it can eventually be sold. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. After a price is determined, it will be listed for sale. Terms of the sale will be listed in the post, it will most likely be listed as local pickup for Poinciana, FL since that's where my Dad lived.

ZB Custom, SN 0540. From a post I found, SN 0506 is a D-10 made 9-28-1973 so my Dad's is probably a 74 or later.

Thanks in advance for your help and there are more pics if needed.

Derek

Steel guitars Ohio has a similar ZB for sale on their site for $2450. It was listed on the forum at $2150. Hasn't sold yet.
You could look for sold listings on reverb and eBay but ZB's are pretty rare. Usually list prices on those sites are ridiculous so the sold listings are the only valuable info.
If your dad played it, he's got other stuff like a seat, volume pedal and amp that could make an attractive deal for local pickup. Seats and amps don't always ship easily.
I'm in the Oviedo area for what that's worth. Not looking to buy anything though.
