questions about matchbro

[baxter vaughan]

whenever i plug my matchbro in, my volume drops about 2/3 and my tone goes to nothing. yes it has new industrial strength batteries in it. has anyone else seen this happen? who does work on them? and will just any adaptor do or do i need to get a specific one? thanks for your help!

How's everything goin'? Best thing to do
is give 'em a call at Goodrich. I wouldn't
trust it to anyone else for repairs. After
all, they made it! They'll have whatever
parts it might need right there.

I'm sure you ruled out any of the cords you're using, right?
